Mission Statement

The Eersterust Community Development NPC is dedicated to developing a safe, clean, and prosperous Ward 43 community through continuous professional and accountable management.

Our Purpose

The ECDF serves as a coordinating body that remains deeply connected to the needs of the community. Through innovation, legislative action, and proactive planning, we aim to:

• Prevent further community decay.

• Ensure a safer, cleaner, and better home for all residents.

• Provide opportunities that empower and uplift the community.

Our Pledge

We are committed to:

• Listening to and collaborating with the community and all stakeholders.

• Providing professional facilitation and strategic planning.

• Creating and implementing optimal business plans.

• Establishing key initiatives, including:

  • The Community Upliftment Precinct (CUP).

  • The Internal Municipal Service District (IMSD) for Ward 43.

• Creating a Community Care Centre to manage community efforts.

• Allocating funds transparently and accountably according to budget plans, adhering to corporate governance and best practices.

• Ensuring optimal municipal services for the community by signing a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the City of Tshwane after the establishment of the IMSD.
